throwdown didn't play. they had the wheel of their van explode and were stuck in CT.

children of bodom: so with out throwdown playing, COB were told they could play longer... but they DIDN'T! the still only played 6 songs... I was pissed!~ yeah yeah, they probably didn't rehurse other songs, but they still could have busted out some of the songs from the new ep they are releasing at the end of this month.. or maybe a cover. anyhow, they played awesome. I'm always inpressed by cob. they are so tight live, playing insanly well and still loking like they are having the best time playing.

fear factory: after a long set up time, they came out. no synth player though. for the most part, they played older (good) songs. I totally forgot about their cd obsolete... there are some ok tracks on that cd. they played a couple tracks from soul of the new machine. the best song they played was martyr. I sort of wishes they would have stopped there, becuase I didn't dig scapegoat which they did after that. then they slipped into the nu-metal fear factory that has polluted the new cds. I was a big fan of the first 2 cds when I was young, not the new stuff. they ended with republica, but I couldn't hear the vocals at all.

lamb of god: yes, randy was beyond hammered, but that made it hilarious. he sent out 2 songs to scoot (ogre) lee and the nemhf. anyhow, after all the tours, big labels and all, they are still the same band and the same guys. with 3 full lengths as LOG (and 1 as burn the priest) they have plenty of material to fill over and hour set. their set was awesome and filled with a bunch of MA/CT "stars" that came out on stage. during on of the songs, brian from shadows fall came out grabbed a mic and then jumped into the audience and howard (bhbs/kse) ran out and carried randy around the stage. towards the last part of their set, rev steve austin (today is the day) came out and sang with them too. he looked a little lost without his guitar, but it was cool that they had him come out. the last song went out to Unearth.
