What were your first concert experiences?

mine was the WBCN River Rave in like '99; i saw Blink 182, The Living End, a snipet of Silverchair, Sugar Ray, Live, the Red Hot Chili Peppers....probably more but i don't remember them. i wasn't really into any of those bands, i was beginning my quest for death metal at this point, but a friend invited me so i said what the hell.

the second was Oleander, Our Lady Peace, and Creed; again i didn't care much for the bands; Creed were still remotely heavy as their 2nd album wasn't out yet.

my first Metal show was....oh god, how embarrassing.....Six Feet Under, in support of the "true carnage album". Napalm Death, and Dimmu Borgir were supposed to play, but this was just after the September 11th incident, so maybe they weren't too keen on flying over here, i don't know. But plenty of gay metalcore bands filled in, Lamb of God, God Forbid, Darkest Hour, Candiria, Unearth....looking back i don't know why i went to that.
