I don't care what the issue is or what your politics are, you know a policy is destructive when even people who stand to gain from it in the short term start to worry about the long term implications. If an environmentalist says our laws are too stringent and hurting business, you know it's for real. If a reverend says we have too much religion in our public institutions, you know it's for real. It's interesting that none of the people here backing Bush policies have even tried offering an alternate explanation for the Shell President's criticism; instead they just rattle off the same talking points.
