Everything was going to paid for, and we were going to have money left over. I was even going to get paid to do the art on my own CD, on top of many other benefits. There's almost no way to get another record deal as good, so we just have to cut our losses depending who bites. We definitely can't afford to record it on our own. We'll definitely still do pre-production, but probably engineer it ourselves since Devon and Eliot are both engineers/producers. Luckily we get to use a sweet studio right down the street from our practice space. But, until a label decides to give us money for recording, pre-production is all we can afford to do.
