I will never be able to take bands like Forever Carved or My Letter seriously because at least the first of two, if challanged, will brag about their following, the amount of CD's they sell and all the shows they get. Let me ask you this though: when is the last time either played more than 100 miles away from their houses? It's not hard to seem "big" if it's the same thirty kids going to every show. Fuck, if I was forced to go to every show I'd sadly learn the words too, not out of choice but because that's how the mind works.

My Letter seems overtly sincere, I must say, but both bands won't do shit. It's just a hobby, I hope, because neither band has played a non-generic/raped chord in their short existence.
