How about A Boy And His Blob? The whole game is based on feeding jellybeans to this blob who is temporary transformed by them to accomplish different functions. Has anyone in the history of humanity ever beaten that game? It's fun and trippy as hell but unlike with the whole Sonic/Tails thing where Tails can die an infinite amount of times, if you completely lose the blob bouncing right behind you (picture a cross between Casper The Friendly Ghost and a smiling bowling pin), you die. Oh yeah, he can't fly either and there are tons of underground caves screen after screen deep. Enjoy.
