I actually haven't been to the Iron Horse myself, which might make me lame, although the average fare consists of hippy music and more hippy music. Also the entertainment group that books the venue (Iron Horse Entertainment Group) has a monopoly on pretty much every venue in Noho (other than the Elevens) which has led to plenty of opportunities to see white dudes play reggae and a lock out of almost anything heavy (except for the once a decade metal core event). They do occasionally book emo friendly indie rock and pop punk too...
