Once in a while that meant coming back from an out of state show (after driving all night) and going straight to work. For a good show it was usually worth it. But that was a looong time ago... If I had to worry about work in the morning, I wouldn't have even thought about going to last night's show. Both the shows I was talking about were in Providence and I only lived 20 minutes away (even closer now) so that's why it was feasible. Wouldn't have driven to Boston for something like that.
