Prefacing, "Art Metal Project" doesn't really paint a complete picture for this project. It's much less constrained to any specific genre (metal)... I was only allowed so many characters in the posting title....

I'm all over the place with this. My imagination is like a broken dam, constantly pouring out ideas. I have a hard time catching them all and because of this, I find my efforts often coming off as sloppy and incomplete due to me overextending myself. . .

So far, I've created all of this music by myself. I'm tired of working like this. I would much rather prefer to collaborate with like-minded, creative, insightful, tasteful (an attribute I'm hesitant to say I possess), ambitious musicians - a DRUMMER and a BASSIST- who are enthusiastic about playing this music with me. I have one caveat: You need to be better than me at the instrument you play, which isn't really asking much. I can also see myself eventually wanting to put sparse vocals over this so vocalists are welcome too.

That said, the music:

I will suggest that you listen to the following compositions all the way through to gather a full understanding of what I'm after. And given that each song has a very unique theme in relation to the others, I'd humbly ask that you listen to all four:

Regulus
Alpha Arietis
Tall Tales
Antebellum

Thats it. Thanks, enjoy and I look forward to talking with you. Peace.
