I feel like we've been saying that forever. People are always saying the scene is dying. Whenever there is a resurgence the new members are called posers for a while till most of them leave and the few that remain get accepted till the next one. But are young people not into it anymore? Like the metal scene is mostly cis straight white dudes and from what I can tell in the youth that is the least cool thing you can be these days.
