What happened to In Flames is that they stopped writing good riffs and the vocalist thought that if he emulated Jonathan Davis from Korn that they would have more success financially and through touring. He was right.

After "Clayman", the descent into laziness grew more steep. Lots of people liked Reroute To Remain and I do not know why whatsoever.

Some could argue Whoracle was their last solid album. That's fine, but I liked Colony a lot. Zombie Inc rules.

The last time they even wrote more than 1 memorable riff was on A Sense of Purpose which shockingly came out after the absolutely agonizingly terrible Soundtrack To Your Escape.

In Flames is trash now.
