good fucking show, not many people at all were there. I hate shows that have a shitload of people and having to think about if some retard hardcore kid is going to hit me in the back of the head with a bottle or their newest saucony's. Got there and evicerate was playing. they were pretty brutal. The lead guitarist was pretty damn good and suprised everyone with a couple of pretty good solo's. Deadeyesunder use to be a pretty fucking good band back when they released the split 7inch with ground zero and were called FLESHOLD. The CD they came out with as Dead eyes under was pretty good too, but they only played one song from that (stricken). The rest was pretty boring and the vocals are not as bad ass as they use to be. Ground Zero now known as emanual 7 definetly didn't belong at this show. They bored the fuck outta me with their hippie jam sessions. The lead singer who does some really gay thing with his hand like jonathan davis every once in a while. All that remains put on a great fuckin show last night. Damn good guitar playing. Although, their singer kinda scares me sometimes with his wierd fred durst dance with his shirt off hahahah Darkest Hour jumps around a lot and its kinda fun to watch. They say some pretty comical things too. Musically they don't really play anything thats really outstanding. Live they sound muddy, probably due to all of the jumping around and sliding on floors on their backs. The Crown, was god damn great! Came out and played the title track off their new album, play some of their very old stuff (even before the hell is here album). It was awesome seeing them with EX- at the gates vocalist tomas lindburg, his vocals are almost the same as their previous vocalist which I think is cool. I heard someone yell out in between a song "blinded by fear" which would have been fine maybe if the rest of AT THE GATES was up on stage with him! (you fuckin retard)...They ignored him.... I stood in front of their lead guitarist for their entire set. His guitar posture and playing style was perfect and by the book. It was rediculous not seeing him pick using his arm, not even his wrist, but just his thumb and index finger moving up and down at lightning speeds. Definetly a pretty accomplished guitarist. Good show, Im glad not many people showed up and a lot played the 'lets watch a metal band on the balcony' game. \m/
