"Seminal metal band At The Gates will reunite for some shows next summer. The following festivals have been confirmed thus far:
July 4-6 Ruis Rock, Finland
July 31-Aug 2 Wacken Open Air, DE
Aug 15-17 Bloodstock, Derby, UK
Guitarist Anders comments on the reunion:
"Well, it felt like the timing was right for once. We have been talking about a possible reunion for years now, but this was the first time everything fell into place. For me personally, it feels like getting closure. The break-up over ten years ago was abrupt and left a bad vibe between us that took years to get over. We have a better relationship today and a more relaxed approach to who we are and what we do. The time is right to get together and play some shows Try to catch us live in the summer 2008. It could be your last chance" |

I was wicked excited that when people really started being insane over ATG I had never heard of them. I rule. |

This is possibly one of the only reunion shows i would travel accross the ocean to see. Fucking thrilled about this one. |

Thus why I said I "want" to go...I highly fucking doubt I'd ever be able to go overseas JUST for a show. |

This is not a good idea. I'd love to see them with a time machine, but The Haunted has left a bad taste in my mouth. (Backstage, if you know what I'm sayin'. Amirite?) |
