Hai!

I just got stuck with a large repair bill for my trailer. I was renting it to a friend of mine, it broke down outside of Philly, he brought it to a shop and they fixed it without my (or his) authorization.

I know I should probably fight him on the cost, but I'm severely limited as to what I can do about it, seeing as I'm in MA and my trailer is still in Philly. I can't really sue, cause it wouldn't be worth going to Philly and back for a small-claims case that wouldn't happen for another 6 months anyway. I'll bitch and bitch about it to see if they'll knock some cost off, but I highly doubt that will do much good. At the end of the day, they've got my trailer and I probably won't be getting it back until I part with some hard-earned cash.

So, to help recoup some of my cost, I'd like to rent it out again and re-risk terrible shit happening to it. If anyone needs one for a tour/moving out of their apartment/whatever, let the PM's fly!

It just had the electrical updated, new axle and bearings (as of last week) and should be ready to rock and roll. I'm not totally sure of the dimensions offhand--its not a 5X8, but it is roughly equivalent in size. I've used it for a 7 person band before, so it will fit all of your shit for a tour no prob.

K THX

PS -- I'll always beat the UHaul price or whatever. Not looking to start a rental company, just can't afford to do this on my own.

sXe Alex...I know I bugged you in the past about auto repair for my S-10...where are you located again? I may need some work on a different car.

Alex--part of the problem is the physical distance from me to it. I don't currently even have the means to go get it myself--no vehicle to tow it with. It would also be a major hassle for me to deal with a better business bureau or attorney general's office from a state I don't live in.

And honestly, what they charged me doesn't seem to be THAT outrageous price-wise, I'm just really pissed that they never even asked me.
