Just can't get into Animals. Always blows peoples minds when I say that. I like the 2 acoustic shorts, but the stuff in between... I dunno... just not for me. I'm a huge Floyd fan too.

Half of 'Animals' is 'Wish You Were Here' leftovers. Two songs considered for 'WYWH'—"Raving and Drooling" and "Gotta Be Crazy"— appeared as "Sheep" and "Dogs" with lyrics reworked to fit Waters' new theme. 1st Floys album with no writing credit from Richard Wright.

The idea to cover the Floyd song Atom Heart Mother had been festering in both Tom Walsh and Brad Fletcher's heads for quite some time. Both had spent many a stoned evening absorbing this classic song. They collaborated with Robert Williams to form FLOYDESTROYER in the fall of 2005 with the goal of interpreting Floyd their own way:heavy,pounding,brutal. They met for a few quiet jams in Roberts apartment before getting together in a rehearsal space in Rockland MA. There, the song was studied further and mapped out until it was ready for performance. The first gig was at Geno's in Portland Maine, the second at Dee Dee's lounge in Quincy MA. Both shows were recorded live by Acadia Recording out of Portland and edited together to make the version heard here. Due to MySpace size limitations, it has been edited and split into 4 sections.

We also did a studio version of AHM with an organist, someday It'll get mixed properly, only to sit on my Hard drive. Anyways, check it out, this was a fun project
