I think theres a lot of people going to Slayer that night. I guess Helmet is playing that night too. I'll be at Slayer....but I think there was a thread earlier about the show. I couldn't find it right away but there's probably someone that could help you on that thread. Damn too many good bands playing Saturday.

Tell me about it. But I know that Slayer will be around for a bit (and I really want to catch Mastodon too) so if I miss them this time, there will be a next. Not so sure about Dave though...

Yeah hey what the hell happened to him anyhow. I never got the real deal on why he can't play anymore...or can he?? I'm confused. Dave Mustaine is great and it would suck to never hear him again. I have seen both Megadeth and Slayer at the Clash of the Titans a looooooooooong time ago.

Dave can play now - hence the new album. He had a complete and total recovery. However, he's so flaky now I don't know if he'll tour much more (despite how good the new album is).

I *also* hear this is the last Megadeth tour ever (heh - even though he's the only returning member).

Really? thats too bad. Good that he can play but bad that this will be the last tour. Thanks for the info I had no clue what happened to him. All I heard was he was in a horrible accident or something.

I think I heard he was in a bad motorcycle accident and the nerves in one of his arms suffered really bad trauma or something, and when that was announced I think they said he was never going to be able to play again.

I heard all sorts of stuff...skydiving accident..advanced arthritis...all sorts of stuff.

Actually, right from Dave's mouth - he slept on it wrong and pinched a nerve in his arm. Doctor's originally said he would never be able to play again and he disbanded Megadeth.

Megadeth were great I think they played to many songs off their new album though. I missed Exodus cause I suck... And I have to agree that the crowd smelled horrible.

MEGADETH and EXODUS kicked major ass!!!! Steev the fill-in singer sounds too much like metal-core crap. He used to be good years ago when he was in DEFIANCE. He sounded like Chuck Billy from TESTAMENT.
Anyway, all the youngsters got into EXODUS. That's good!!

MEGADETH opened with SET THE WORLD AFIRE... That was awesome!!!! Besides that, highlights of the show were : SKIN O MY TEETH, TORNADO OF SOULS, HANGER 18, IN MY DARKEST HOUR, KICK THE CHAIR, THE SCORPION, WAKE UP DEAD, BACK IN THE DAY, SOMETHING I AM NOT, OF MICE AND MEN, HOLY WARS, PEACE SELLS....... Lots of pit action and crowd surfing........
