I just worked an 18 hour day. 2pm to 8am. I feel all funky and the super pastrami sandwich I had at 1am keeps on knocking to come out. Good news is though I got a free Xbox.

18 hour work shift is rough
i've been up for 23 hours straight at this point, worked from midnight till 8am.
i work 14 hour shifts every wednesday from 4pm to 8am, so i know the feeling.

shit sucks, night shift kills almost your entire social life. work, sleep, work, sleep. it's like you never leave.

I get along with most of the guys on my night team even though I'm their boss so it makes for a smooth and sometimes eventful night. I don't have to be in until 2 wednesday so I got some down time to rest up.
