Who else went to this show? all the bands were great, i had a good time, except the heat was something terrible, plus this show was the first time i ever bought a beer from the palladium; 5 bucks and the shit was got warm in 2 minutes. i'll never get a beer there again!

Into Eternity: great opening act, sounded like a mix of power metal, thrash, and death metal. the singer kept making these funny wide-eyed faces like a kid getting head for the first time....he could really hit those high notes good too. unfortunately during the heavier parts, all the fat kids wanted to take their shirts off and start a pit...it's not pleasant when some shirtless guy, soaked in sweat comes crashing into you like a bat out of hell. i hate mosh pits.

Edguy: a real happy bunch of germans; a big ear-to-ear grin on the face of every one of those guys. they put on a great show, the singer was especially energetic....lots of cheesy 80's synchronized guitar moves, headbanging and dancing...lots of fun, awesome performance over all.

HammerFall: the band i went there to see, as i'd never heard of into eternity, and never really listened to edguy before. one of the first things i noticed was how rediculous the bass player looked, with a baffling amount of sparkly silver and metal plates adorning his clothes. but they ripped through a great set....the singer's wireless mic started crapping out on him in the middle of a song, but he kept making jokes about it....they went into a verse from metallica's "enter sandman", then the singer made some comment about how they could be millionares if they had written that, and that he was glad they didn't write that song. but i guess the wireless mic started working again, and they finished their set.

my g/f and i wanted to go but limited funds wouldn't allow it :(

It was badass. During one of the bands, though, some fag tried to jump up to crowd surf or something, and he landed right on my fucking nose. I was right about to kick the shit out of him until this HUGE guy waved his hand and shook his head (Basically suggesting that he'd fuck me up if I messed with the retard.)

And one of Edguy's guitarists looks like the guy from Killswitch Engage if he had a skullet.

Yea that was an awesome show, I missed Into Eternity but I didnt really like them when i heard them anyways.

I wanted to go...
but things didn't work out as such.
