starting back with members of the Automata in 2002 + matt rowe and devon, they were a 5 piece. Their music was just straight up brutal as fuck.
Live, they took the basic formula of unnited gutteral and went with it.
on their first demo, it was way more-chaotic with sampler-play and didn't capture the live experience.
fast forward a year and a line up change (scott, ex-automata was replaced by nick, ex letters from the dead on drums, the 2nd guitar player was lost to the voice, and joe on bass was replaced by the great adam spalding) and they are still together, doing shows, but their style has slightly changed.
more cow bell and vocals shifting towards pig destoryer or agoraphobic nosebleed in parts, but still encompassing the whole thing with brutal vocals and slams that get them on shows with deathgrind bands that most other bands would drool at the chance to play with.
disclaimer: I finally decided how I'm choosing the band for the daily appriciation... I wrote a randomly selecting thing and if the band that comes up deserves it, they get it. so selection = random+my beliefs.
bitch about your band(s) not being focused on and you go to the bottom of the pile. the new england scene is awesome and rich with bands that should be playing bigger shows. If your band deserves it, I will get to you too
Rev, you also forgot to mention metal magazine stars ;) if you didnt already know... we are gonna be covered in issue #45 of PIT magazine. so that come sout like next month or the month after... i dont know if it is monthly or bi-monthly or even quarterly... we'll see soon enough i guess

Termanally Your Aborted mother fucking Ghost thats all i have to say these guys are too much seriouslly im gonna have a heart attack typing this. Seriouslly when i listen to these guys i want to gag your rotted entrails and shove a cow bell up your ass. These guys are pretty young and bust out some pretty technical guitar work with high speed drummer nicks wrist are gonna fall of someday i can see it now. Devons ultra guttural voxs and crazy grindcore screams are too much. and spalding is just sexy so ill leave it at that. This band gets better every fucking show i bet by the end of 2003 early 2004 these guys will be tearing up the palladium and big clubs of hell of alot more and showing ppl around here that death/slam/grind is back and ready to knock you the fuck out yo!. I give these mother fuckers the horns till the day my fat ass dies. Keep it up fella's.
yea what he said, my sentiments exactly... except without all the gay overtones. i'm glad you guys are around. thanks for taking the hatebreed out of massachusettes.
