back in 1999/2000 (when I started taking pictures at shows), I started talking to this guy who used to sit in the back of the building with a video camera. That man was jim ash who together with mike (m_s_d) formed a band. Finally, in 2001, I got to see them opening for marduk
sporting their new singer (who always seemed to wear a ironic shirt, but would come out with brutal, crushing vocals.
in 2002, after putting out tons of demos recorded on a single mic, they put out an actual cd wth 9 tracks on it.
since then, they've played tons of shows (I've seen them 10 times, including getting on a bill with Judas Priest and opening for overkill) and are still making brutal music. What lies in the future of BOE? In the future, hopefully, a 2nd guitar player to do back up rhythms, but no canidates have stepped forward yet. They also are using Jim (guitar) and Brandon (bass) more in background vocals on their newer stuff. I think this will just add a nice range to doug (vocals) brutal lows. They seem pretty damn egar to play with CSDO and the reformed Meliah Rage in December. Unfortunately for them, they pre-will sell more tickets then any of the other bands. Also, they are still looking for a label to do up their first release big time.

A 1
A 2
A 1 2 3 4
Look into my eyes, you will see what you mean to me.
Search your heart, search your soul,
When you find me there you'll search no more.
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for,
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for.
You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you.
Look into your heart, you will find, there's nothing to hide.
Take me as I am, take my life,
And give it up I would sacrifice.
Don't tell me it's not worth fighting for,
I can't help it there's nothing I want more,
You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you.
There's no love like your love.
And no other could give more love.
There's no where, unless you're there,
All the time, all the way...yeah
(SOLO) (Look into your heart babe)
Oh you can't tell me it's not worth trying for,
I can't help it there's nothing I want more.
Yeah I would fight for you, I would lie for you,
Walk a wire for you, yeah I'd die for you.
You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you.
Oh you can't tell me it's not worth trying for,
I can't help it there's nothing I want more.
Yeah I would fight for you, I would lie for you,
Walk a wire for you, yeah I'd die for you.
You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you.

If there's another band out there where you can see a guy in a brand new well-pressed Hawiian shirt screaming some of the craziest death metal vocals you've ever heard, call me crazy.
This band is insane. Their new CD (which I just acquired a week or two ago) is absolutely amazing.
Much appreciation to Bane of Existence.
I hope to play with you guys many more times in the future.
you should have the link now drop me an e mail if you didn't get it i will send it again

BANE OF EXISTENCE humanity's. splintered. salvation.
While they're completely sticking to the style they've started out as,
the Boston-area demolition team cause more melee and spill more blood
than ever before with this nine-song curb kick. It's rudimentary NYC vs.
Tampa; proverbial DM ala MALEVOLENT CREATION and SUFFOCATION with a
heightened sentiment that these guys might just wanna kick your ass for
real. I get the feeling they do seeing that this muderous lil' gem had
me ready to put my fist through... something; anything at all really and
that was just the first listen. The added breakdown factor is likely
because everything in Boston has more breakdowns than everything else
and BOE sure know how to break down the fucking mosh. While far from a
forerunner in any areas of innovation, humanity's. splintered.
salvation. is highly recommended for revenge missions and road rage.
$11 US / $15 World.

figured i would put the new review of the cd on this and bring this back up seeing no one hardly cared when it was originally posted.
