Zakk Wylde was scheduled to be a main part of Hard Rock Café Boston's grand opening, as he was supposed to donate a guitar to become an addition to Hard Rock's memorabilia collection, walk the red carpet, do some interviews, etc. Fans and media waited for hours to speak with Zakk. Halfway through the red carpet arrivals, Zakk called to say that he would not be attending the opening. Reason? He went to a bar in Boston, got absolutely hammered and got into a huge bar fight!
