barron: 7:30-8 I forget what these guys reminded me of last time.. But someone. I think naw, I lost it. There was no one here when they went on and barely anyone on when they got off. That's what this night is going to be like. They are expecting 60 max for it. The lighting was pure and perfect for their set. Blues, Greens, and a couple whites. Awesome. I was really happy. The battery on my kodak SLR/n was showing some wear so I decided to put it to bed and stop snapping 1/2 way through their set. It's too bad I did that.
As soon as they got off the stage, the sound dude went and pulled the green/blue gels. That sucks. Now it's the terrible white lights like before. |

mornalir: 8:15-8:45 like I said, the lighting was sub-par for them. nothing but reds. argh! ok, I've seen these peole before. I had to have they all look so so so familiar. So far this is the band on the bill that sticks out as most like the headiners. They had a visions of atlantis thing going for them on the stage (black metal guy vocals, singing girl vocals). During the last song the lead guitarist busted out some sweet licks. He also sort of reminded me of nickTOC on stage. |
|
akel dama: 9-9:30 my last review for them was so good that im just going to stand on those lourrels. I really figured that these guys would have the largest crowd out of all the bands. When they started up there was nobody in the front of the stage at all. I probably was cause they were tossed on last minute. I stand by the NYDM thing I said lasttime with the singer. He could do maybe a mets hat if he went nydm?? Do the sox hate the mets? the mets are still a team thing right? |
|
from the shadows: 9:45-10:15 ok, they were the one that had the biggest crowd. They did cover songs of run to the hill and breaking the law. Everyone knew what they were playing. I must say, they looked really stiff up there on the stage. The bass play didn't move once their entire set. Weird. The guitarist looked like a little randy rhodes. The singer hit lenty of mad high king diamond notes too |

agonist, the: 10:30-11:00 ok, even more peole filtered in for them got harder and harder to move on the floor. Same good set they have been playing. Seems like they get a bit more relaxed each and every time I see them them on a stage. Hell, they are touring non-stop these days. They are even going to be back here in the fall supporting enslaved. I still hae yet to listen to them on CD. I wonder if I had it sent to me yet. |

Their guitarist freaggin rocked. Not sure the singer got too high a hit rate but overall I liked them.
Is that "X" on the hand that club's mark for "no alcohol"? M.r Guitar must be under 21 then. Not bad. |
