I almost bought that tonight.

I think it's great. Really good combination of their heavier side and their experimental/prog side. Kind of like if you fused "Times of Grace" with "The Eye of Every Storm"...and the layout for the double LP is gorgeous.

Holy shit! I didn't realize the "Given to the Rising" LP version was out. Just ordered it. What a bludgeoningly heavy album that is. I got to see them live in Brooklyn back in January (?).... unfuckingbelieveable.

Just picked up the new Grails ["Take Refuge in Clean Living"] LP, and I've got my copy of the re-release of Coalesce's "012:2 A Revolution in Just Listening" LP on the way (new packaging and all that stuff).

I gotta grab that Engineer LP too. I've got the CD. It's awesome.

yeah, that Neurosis show was at the end of Jan. I was there too. The layout is absurdly good looking for the LPs. New Grails is so mellow...they smoked too much weed before this one.
