Motorhead Preperares To Unleash "Motorizer"

Motörhead - a name that stands on it's own, a band that lives according to
their own rules. A band that never sacrifices anything and has always remained true to what they are. Lemmy Kilmister, Mikkey Dee and Phil Campbell - what you hear is what you get! Lemmy's enthronement as an Icon of Rock happened a while ago and proves that Rock and Roll is still alive and exhilarating. (On June 16, Lemmy received the Mojo Icon Award.)

Fans, new and old, have been worshipping and bowing to Motörhead for over 30 years. Fellow musicians - like Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, The Ramones, Guns N' Roses and Metallica have all payed tribute to the Motörhead legend - in one way or another.

Lemmy is the undisputed head, gruff and with the typical British humor
(despite calling L.A. his home for more than 18 years). Phil Campbell, who has been with the band since 1984, is like a good bottle of Jack Daniels, getting better each year, while Mikkey Dee (with the band since 1992) is described by Lemmy: "Mikkey is fantastic, he's 100% sure of himself, and knows he's the best drummer in the world." The infamous "We Are Motörhead And Play Rock 'n Roll" trio is still a power-horse that won't slow down. More and more people are enthralled by their music and personalities.

Motörhead is without a doubt one of the most respected rock bands in the
world and made it clear to everyone when they finally received a well deserved Grammy in 2005.

Motörizer, a meaty, dangerous rock record, is Motörhead's 24th album and as you can hear, the band is always good for surprises! Like Mikkey Dee says: "A kick ass motherfucking record - definitely one of the wider-ranged Motörhead records ever released."

Motörizer delivers 11 brilliant brand new songs in a never before Motörhead variety, ready to rock the house. The album was again produced by Cameron Webb (Social Distortion, Zebrahead, Papa Roach), who produced the last two Motörhead releases, and much of the recording took place at FooFighter Dave Grohl's 606 studios in Los Angeles.

Listen to the record, this band is more than alive and kickin'.

Here is the track listing:

Runaround Man
Teach You How To Sing The Blues
When The Eagle Screams
Rock Out
One Short Life
Buried Alive
English Rose
Back On The Chain
Heroes
Time Is Right
The Thousand Names of God

Motörhead is embarking on an US tour together with Heaven & Hell and Judas
Priest, already called "Tour of the Year." In the fall, they hit the European
countries to present Motörizer with Saxon and Danko Jones in the UK and
Germany. In Scandanavia, they have recruited Airbourne and Witchcraft - both
line-ups will make sure the venues are sold out.

And for all die hard fans:

There is a Lemmy movie in works: http://www.lemmymovie.com, a Lemmy action figure
is available, he can be seen as a fine truck driver in the latest Airbourne
video and Lemmy is a judge for the British Guitar Hero contest.
