REGARDING THE PA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tim our singer finally got ahold of the guy at MILLY's.... Apparently they have a full PA and Soundguy, and if we want to use it, it will cost us $200...which doesn't sound too bad divided by 4 bands....

Also we break even if 40 people show up, and get to keep any money after that... So I hope everyone is promoting this show to everyone they friggen know! So HCN it's up to you if you think your PA would be good enough to use, or if you think we should all pay for the house system.

so reply here and let's try to figure out what's going on asap.

ps. hoser, why is your phone not in service? stop playing CS and go to work!

apparently we have to use their house PA... who is putting this show on officially? it would probably be best if that person stepped in and figured this out with the milly's owner.

mike@zero put this together....the guy wants 100 bucks for the pa and 50 for a soundguy...this is the stupidest thing Ive ever heard, we are making them money, and we have to pay for a pa??
anyway, I think all the bands should pitch in on this and then well all sound good and loud, and it wont be too much $$ between us.
so heres the deal.....hcn will bring their pa... we (the 4 bands)will also rent the house pa...between the 2, we can blow the fucking doors off Millys.
depending on the turnout, and overall club gayness, I dont see this venue panning out in the future. Any club that charges bands to use the house pa, are greedy, nonsensical fucks, and should be banned.
That just my opinion tho.

we need some local support here fellas...its only $5 if youre 21 and 10$ if youre 18+....well worth it, the bands are great and from what I hear, the club is clean and big. Come to this show.

Things almost worked out that I would have been staying in Manch Saturday night, but, Days in wanted $260 for one room, for one night (all because NASCAR's in town). With that said, Manchester will be full of people looking for something going on, someone should make handbills and hit the bars Friday night!

Fucking sick show last night guys...thanks to all of you who came out. Final count at the door was 125 people. EVERY band was sick.

Here is my review:

PORPHYRIA:
These guys are fucking INCREDIBLE. They hit the night off hard. Fucking crowd went nuts....2 songs into their set I saw a beer glass go flying and smash on the floor. Then I saw some dude get his fucking front tooth kicked out in the pit...he bled...A LOT.

SENSELESS MUTILATION:
Always an incredible show with these guys. Fucking great guys and supportive as hell. Everyone needs to book shows with these guys. They fucking ripped shit up hard.

LIFE AT ZERO:
AMAZING. We share a practice space with these guys, and just when we thought that we've seen them enough, they go and put on a show like they did last night. Technical as hell and pounding to top that off. I couldn't think of a better band to wrap a great night up.

If you missed this show.....get to the Aviary in Dover on Friday night, July 30th. I can't see how that place is gonna survive after this show.

fuck im so sorry i didnt make it. we had band practice last night(the first in a monthe cause we were all on vacation) we got there and our door had a pad lock on it. come to find out our land loard locked us out because we were 3 weeks late on the rent. it was paid before i went to cali but it was too late. so we called the guy and he said we had to pay this months rent before we could play. i went to the atm and i found out i was negative 287 bucks. i guess i wasnt keeping track of my monet in cali. so needless to say i was flat broke and now im doomed! i have 1000 dollars of rent and a 380 dollar truck payment to make and i have no money. im doomed. again im sorry guys. i wish i could have been there....looks like i ,issed a killer night!

Was not sure what to expect from HCN from what people were tellin me,but i was surprised as hell they are brutal..And Porphyria,those guys were just sick,much better with a drummer than on the demo,thanks for the shirt ,Tom.. Now if they had better soundguy(HAHA) at the club it woulda been a perfect night .

They don't play it, or understand it, they just sit in their rooms whacking off to the lingerie section of the Sears catalogue, listening to what everyone else tells them is brutal. Thanks to Mark and my wife for helping at the door. The whole deal with collecting money and then the guy wanted us to be his security was rather gay, but at least everyone got paid (very rare at a metal show).

Sorry I missed the after party, but as Tim said, I was at home watching Matlock with an afghan and a glass of warm milk.

I thought it was Murder she wrote......all the old people love that show....cuz Angela Lansbury has some sweet perky little tits for an old lady.

this was an awesome time...

porphyria: immediately we knew we were going to sound like crap over the PA when the soundguy thought one of our guitar amps was a bass amp, hahaha... some Abercrombie gaylords were eating at a table and asked me what kind of music we played, I said "death metal" and they asked "like slipknot?" and I said, "not at all" and just said "you'll see" and walked off as they were still talking shit. we attempted to do one of our sample intro's by micing my boombox, didn't work out so well over the PA. meanwhile we couldn't hear eachother whatsoever on stage, anytime we told the soundguy to turn something up he said "can't do it, it's all the way up" or some shit. had fun anyways just had to focus on what the other guys were doing. I also heard that someone got their tooth chipped/knocked out... sorry dude, I hope you're okay!!

senseless mutilation: 2nd time seeing them, we let them use all our gear (except our guitars) so it sorta gave us a perspective on how we sounded. This time their 2nd guitarist wasn't hammered so it was awesome to hear them with a full sound. Doug has some awesome presence on stage.

hand choke neck: first time seeing my mofo's jake and pk rock out. they were really tight and the fact that they practice a lot shows. tons of heavy old skool breakdowns. chris's first show as a vocalist and i thought he did excellent. PK and jake both played their MH-300's which I thought was cool! I'll have to play mine at the dover show on friday ;)

life at zero: always tear it up, watching nick drum is fuckin cool. the guy is probably the best drummer in NH easily. tom's bass sounds cool with the distortion over it. andy is always tight as hell with his playing. makes me jealous. mike is always giving me dirty looks when i take pictures of him, hahaha. you homo! \m/

thanks to everyone who came out, and the kids who danced. I guess over 130 kids showed up which I think is pretty decent considering all the other shows that night and this being the first metal show at this place. thanks to andy, mike, tom, jake and everyone for setting up this show.

the afterparty: pretty decent time, i had a couple of budslice brewsky's. anthony was drunk as always which includes falling all over everyone, throwing beer everywhere, almost pushing people and falling into the fire, falling into coolers filled with dead rotting fish and worms. most of us left around 2, but tim stayed and said there were people up still drinking till 8am (soulsnot, mikeatzero, chris, ect). crazy.
