i heard this today didn't know if it was true or not. If so how do you think he'll do? personally i think he coul dtake a few fights but unless hes been training for MMA someones gonna give him the beating of his life.

this happened a while ago. he signed up to do boxing rules only matches. tyson is still a fucking awesome boxer... just isnt what he used to be. he trains all the time too... so someone with that kind of natural talent could still be a force to be reckoned with in MMA if he trained up on his ground and kicking game.

Tyson is one of the best boxers of all time (arguably THE best). And he can take a beating.

I think he'll be able to hold his own.

Japanese mixed martial arts organization PRIDE Fighting Championships signed Tyson on August 23, 2006. He was slated to make appearances at PRIDE fight cards and promotional events including an exhibition match at PRIDE Shockwave 2006[6]. In a press conference held on December 30, 2006, however, Nobuyuki Sakakibara, the president and CEO of PRIDE FC's parent company Dream Stage Entertainment, released a statement which called Tyson's relationship with PRIDE FC and Dreamstage Entertainment into serious doubt following Tyson's latest arrest. Stating that Dreamstage representatives had been "speaking with Tyson's management ... since Tyson has admitted that he was in possession of cocaine," Sakakibara called into question as to "whether he [Tyson] can honor our contract with him and whether we should continue the contract at all"
