he was a chow/cocker spaniel mix... there MIGHT have been black lab in his ancestry, but the shelter we got him from when he was a puppy only knew about the chow/spaniel stuff. he had a huge chest and a purple chow tongue and a frilly spaniel tail. poor guy, cancer ravaged him so bad, made him blind last week and he couldnt walk anymore... he had to be put down, there was no use prolonging the pain with chemo... |

Fuck that shit man. I am going to go nuts the day something happens to my dog. I love him far too much. Sorry to hear this Spalding. |

Hey sorry to hear it, my litte dog went the week before the superbowl. It sucked to have him for 15 years and then gone. Then not have them there when you be doing all things you did with them or they would just be around! Sorry dude! |
|
how old was he and what kind of cancer did the dude have? |
|
i had to put my dog down a few months back...it was awful.i will never replace her |

he wasnt very old, only 9. he had cancerous masses all over the place. a large one in his chest, in his neck, apparently one near his eyes (they glazed over and he became blind). he couldnt breathe normally and could barely move. |

the fact that you don't know how to spell deceased makes me feel bad.
On another note, losing an animal is brutally difficult. Spaulding, my heart goes out to you... This shit is not easy, all animals rule, and are made of pure goodness... If only they could live 80 years and we could die after 15 would the world make much more sense. |

My dog is about 15 or so. I'm kinda surprised he's still alive. But small dogs seem to live longer. I'm not sure how I will deal when he does go, but it won't be good.
I've lost several pets. Several parakeets over many years, one dog, two lizards, a Scorpion, Tarantula, Millipede and a Sun conure. The death of my Conure really kicked my ass. |
