Modernism = utilitarianism via humanism (perception > reality, democratic votes determine economic, social and political success)
Many of us are realizing a simple truth:
MOST PEOPLE CANNOT TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES, MAKE SELFISH DECISIONS, LEAVE BEHIND WASTE AND CORRUPTION, AND THEY DON'T CARE BECAUSE THEY LACK THE MENTAL CIRCUITS TO CARE
They cannot be educated into right behavior.
They will not recognize why right behavior is correct.
All of their political statements -- left, right and other -- are excuses for their slovenly lifestyles.
