No solid songs yet, but ideas thrown together. Mikeov and I have been jamming for a few months now and we would like to get the ball rolling. We practice in South Boston. Very diverse sound so far, but my idea is to blend some stuff together, hopefully in a good way.
The main goal: atmosphere, build ups and crescendos, head banging riffs, and black metal riffs here and there, but used when needed.
I also plan on having clean/acoustic guitar parts with clean vocals used sparingly.

Main inluences in what we are jamming out right now:
(old?)Katatonia, Ved Buens Ende, Alcest, My Dying Bride, (old)Opeth, Shape of Despair, black metal, and doom (European style).
Electronic and ambient sounds as well.

We don't want this to be a band that switches around styles to appeal to a wide audience (sorry fans of btbam). We are doing the music and experimenting not for others, but for trying to create a (hopefully) unique atmosphere with what we do. In short, no rock star attitude hobby rockers please. Just people willing to expand their musical horizons and willing to incorporate various emotions and and atmospheres within the music.

Even if you don't want to be a full time member, but a session member, that's fine for now. We plan on recording something soon. Maybe that'd help a little.
