I saw Petty at Great Woods (when it was still Great Woods) almost 20yrs ago. I recall it 'twas a good time.

my wife saw him in St Louis, She said it was awesome. But the guitarist, Mike Campbell, sat down towards the end of the set for a few songs, then he had to go back stage and puke from dehydration. They came back after 5 minutes or so and Tom told what happened, they came back in about 10 minutes and played 3 encores. It was at least 95 degrees and they were wearing pants and jackets on stage under those lights. Plus they're pretty old
