"we're not gonna take it" by twisted sister
it's so inspiring the way he took the vocal line and copied it exactly, but threw in a whammy dive twice |

i would have said the same thing about the solo for sympathy for the devil, it inspires me to drive through a schoolyard |
the solo for that song is way more hilarious actually...cuz it's just keith richards slurring in like 7 notes in one high-pitched, awful sounding debacle |
i wanna see the 10 minute video of the people doing the background "woo woo"s for the whole song
it never stops
Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo...Woo Woo... |

I don't like the stairway solo. That resolve to the F note on the 8th fret of the A string just sounds wrong to me |
Crazy Train... end of story. |

BARK AT THE MOON!
Jake E. Lee > Zakk Wylde (and I like Zakk's playing) |
Again, my actual pick is Pink Floyd - High Hopes (Pulse version). |
anything noodled by Jeff Loomis. |
Go ahead and call me stupid, but Larry Lalonde busts out a fucking ridiculous solo in Primus' Frizzle Fry. |
Yeti said: anything noodled by Jeff Loomis. |
x2! |
no, Loomis is retarded... he plays more notes in some solos then I've played in my life.
soooooooooo gooooood!
I'm jealous! |

THANK FUCKING GOD!
I am always alone in the corner of Jake E. Lee.
IMHO, the songs he played on far surpass the quality of any other bs Ozzy ever put out, and the riffs and leads are just so fucking amazing. |
I'm glad someone else sees that the same way I do. Don't get me wrong, I love Rhoads, and Wylde's a phenominal player that plays BOTH Lee's and Rhoad's solos note for note (with his own flair of course)
but by far my fav ozzy guitarist is Jake E. Lee |
goodbye to romance is easily the best solo in an ozzy song you idiots |
I heard this solo by some band on this board. Something like Shroud of Beavermints |
HAHAHAHA, Shroud of Beavermints! |
I also fancy the simple 1 note misfit solos. They fit quite well |

I'm right in that corner with you. I'm not allowed to say rhodes is crap, because he's dead. I can't say Zakk Wylde is crap, because he managed to get drunk and party with every kid in america and somehow that made him an honorary guitar god. Jake E. Lee was the best guitarist ozzy ever had. His work with Ozzy had some of the best mixes, best guitar riffs, and best solos.
That said, Badlands was shit. Utter shit.
I like his solo in rockin in the free world. That's some coked up shred at its finest. |
I've always thought that Slash's Paradise City solo was untouchable. |
I like the solo in one in a million off lies minus the racist, edgy axl lyrics. |
who is this troll? The next radical dirt biker
I like One in a Million because of the racist lyrics
Immigrants and faggots, get outta my way
ya come to my country and spread some fucking disease
Domination. Or all of tender surrender by Steve Vai |
I'm african american and you are a bigot. I thought this was the land of the free. And who are you calling a troll. Who in the band are you anyway. |

The solo in "Stranger in a Strange Land" is still my favorite Adrian Smith work.
So badass. |

Totally wrong, man.
Immigrants and faggots they make no sense to me
They come to our country and think they'll do as they please
Like start some mini-iran, or spread some fucking disease.
And seriously, who the hell ever looked to Axl Rose lyrics for their political education? Anyone offended by this is fucking paranoid. |

Yeah, we had to give you an "A". The school committee has a racial quota, and heard you say you were african-american.
A white kid woulda got a D for that post.
Don't cry, I'm just teasing you. |
Solos don't really impress me.
*SHIELD ACTIVATE* |

I also like my own off the cuff solos. Full of african american emotion. |

Danger Bird I think has my favorite solo. I think a way better thread would be favorite Neil Young solo. |
Did I mention for my love of any Lenny Kravitz solos as well. A fellow brotha doin quite well for himself. He's hardcore. |
I always liked the solo for "the thing that should not be"-metallica.
And "enemies of reality"-nevermore. |
How about some of that new alter bridge stuff. Mark Tremonti can really shred. |
Dave Mustaine- last solo in "Holy Wars" |
Farten_Dust said: And "enemies of reality"-nevermore. |
what about the opening run in Psalm of Lydia? |
Comfortably Numb
Light My Fire
Sweating Bullets |
blackened...maybe. Creeping Death.
Someone has to agree with me. |
destruction - total desaster
and i dont want to hear any crap about it being sloppy, thats half the fun |
I'm a very big fan of the solo in Death's "Spirit Crusher." |
