Ok. I've been seeing some posts on how people don't like Dream Theater...which is the greatest band on the face of the planet. Their songs make you move emotionally and cry. That's the beauty of music yet all of you goofs listen to repetitive boring slam/death metal. Pretty pathetic compared to Dream Theater. I'm pretty offended at some of the comments some people post about them and I want you to stop. Thanks

the newest dream theater is pretty enjoyable for the most part. i like the new symphony x a lot. haters gon' hate. y'all just mega jelly of michael romeo's blazingly fast sausage fingers.

Do the songs make you move emotionally? It does for me man... when I'm listening to other music, sure I can do other mundane things like get a cup of coffee or take a shit... but Dream Theater makes me get a cup of coffee and take a shit EMOTIONALLY.

However, I for one am quite offended at some of the comments about repetitive slam/death in the initial posting and I would like them to stop and the moderators of this message board should remove such posts and ban the users who make them.

I like the new DT a lot. I think it's probably the best album in their current style. It was a smart move to worry less about 20+ minute epics and more about keeping songs under control without too much wandering. The song Outcry has a massive riff and that chorus has been stuck in my head basically since I got it.
